πŸ“£ How To Use A Webinar To Sell Your Program

During our Webinar Basics To Business Masterclass, a participant asked how/where/when do I promote my program. My response was: β€œUse your webinar as a sales step in the funnel and sell live into your program.”

Here are 7 steps in order to sell your program through a webinar:

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Set up your program on your website

Make sure the landing page and a registration page are set up to funnel your webinar audience. You don’t have to have to program content ready but having the landing page ready, gives you and your participants clarity around what your program is, what your program costs and it enables you to learn how to talk about and sell your programs.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Create your webinar in alignment with your program

A good way to think about this is that your webinar is going to be teaching people WHAT to do whilst the program is going to teach people HOW to do that or how to implement it.

The webinar shows you WHAT to do. The program teaches you HOW to do it, or how to implement it.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Market yourself as the expert in your field

Positioning yourself and marketing yourself as the expert in what your program teaches help with sales. For example, if your program is around self-mastery, position and market yourself as an expert in self-mastery, if your program is around marketing position and market yourself as an expert in marketing.

Position yourself in your promo, in your marketing, in your personal branding as the expert in your niche.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» During your webinar seed your program

Start to talk about the program early on in your webinar to start getting your audience used to the fact that this is not it - the webinar is not the point. That there is a program that you will be talking about later on.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Pitch your program

At the end of the webinar, your call to action is pitching your program to your live audience, ideally with an opportunity to engage and to get them to make a purchase decision, to register straight away in the room.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Post webinar, follow up

Follow up with emails and an exploratory conversation about your program and continue the conversation with your webinar participants. Communicating with them via email, communicating with them by an exploratory sales conversation or exploratory call to see what they thought of the webinar and if your program is going to be right for them.

Nurturing them into a conversion, making that purchase decision.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» Post-program, show off your program

Showcase the Program Results to your participants. Use social proof, showcase who they are and what they've achieved by attending your program.
