đź“Ł Giving back with Impact
A webinar gives you unique opportunity to give back.
Although a big part of running a webinar is to grow your business. It is also important to give, give value, give opportunity and give back with impact.
So let's unpack these ways of giving back in our webinars a little bit.
Giving Value To Your Clients
So the first thing I'd like to talk about is Giving Value, and these would be giving value to your clients, creating client specific webinars, to share your value with your current client database.
Doing this gives you a great opportunity to:
Re-engage with your clients
Show a new offering or new product or new service
Showcase your value and your expertise.
And not only that, it still gives you great opportunity to build and grow your business because we know that it's easier to keep our clients than it is to find and source new ones.
Recently I have been working with Gavin from Your Business Angels, to launch webinars for his clients. These free webinars have increased communication and increased revenue for Your Business Angels by providing specialist insights into the current economic climate and encouraging their clients to connect with their account manager to discuss new ideas, increase profits and source funding.
đź’ˇWhat can you offer your clients?
Give Opportunity to Our Partners
Running partnership webinars, and inviting our partners to speak on our webinars and share value. Now this gives us some really great opportunities.
Give opportunity to your partners by inviting them to share their expertise on your webinar.
Reach a new audience
Build rapport with new partnerships
Increase your knowledge
First of all, it gives us access to a whole new audience. When we partner, we have to opportunity to ask the people who we are partnering with to share the webinar with their database. Giving us an audience reach.
The other thing it does is it helps us build rapport with our partners, really grow together. After all, we know that partnerships is still the number one way to build and grow your business.
And finally, it gives us opportunity to learn something new. So, if there's something new that you've been thinking about learning, source a partner to teach you and your audience.
đź’ˇCreate a partner mind map and find opportunities to collaborate on a webinar.
Have a think about who's in your network, who are complimentary noncompeting partners, create a mind map of those and see how you can create a webinar for your communal databases. This way, you can give opportunity to your partners while still providing opportunity for your business growth.
It’s a great way to give support and build relationships. Plus, it means that you don’t have to create all the content!
Give Back with Impact
This is my favorite, we have an opportunity to Give Back with Impact.
This means partnering with an organization or a charity that enables us to add a bonus ticket to our tickets as a "Ticket for Good".
To partner with or being able to give back impactfully and create a ticket for good enables us to:
Showcase our social corporate responsibility
Enable our attendees to give back
Create more reasons to connect with your audiences
Personally, I partner with B1G1 because B1G1 gives me a unique opportunity to choose from over 500 different projects to be able to support.
And so I choose things that align with my business and my values. Things like providing access to an indigenous community in Australia to an online hub or providing a week's worth of business training for women in Malawi.
Other ideas around being able to create a impact ticket for good is to add value with your impact ticket for good. So you might have a free ticket and then you might have an impact ticket for good, which might cost your attendees anywhere between, you know, $10 to $20.
Now, not only does this ticket go forward to give something back to a charity or a project of your choice, but you can also add things to it. Like you can get the recording of this webinar with this particular ticket. And what that will do is 1. It will bring more value, but 2. It will help you to then understand who is a definite attendee at your webinar, because we know that if people pay for a ticket, they are more likely to come to the event.
💡Try adding an “Impact Ticket For Good” to your webinar tickets. Create more added value by adding access to the webinar recording as part of this ticket.
Let's think about how you can give back with impact in your webinars?
Think about how you can give value to your clients with clients specific webinars, provide opportunity to your partners by partnering with noncompeting complimentary businesses and running a webinar together and running a giving value through impact by adding a ticket for good to your webinar.
