📣 5 Proven Tips To Streamline Your Content Workflow & Save Time

Did you know that the reason most people avoid building their digital presence is because of the time and energy it takes to create a single social media post or story? Nobody’s got the time to be sharing one post at a time, right?

Most business owners, creators, difference makers. Struggle to create one post, one social post, one email, let alone put together a content strategy. However, we know that if we have great content that we create consistently, we can increase our visibility, which will increase our brand reputation and revenue. And at the end of the day, it will help us gain more clients.

5 Proven Tips To Streamline Your Content Workflow And Save You Time

Set A Creation Schedule

Put together a content creation schedule.

When are you going to create your content? This is different for different people. We need to know ourselves and set a content creation schedule. That's going to work for us.

Set yourself specific dates and times to create your content. Make sure it is a schedule that works for you and make yourself accountable. We all know we work better to a deadline. So, set yourself deadlines.

Develop A Creation Process

How are you going to create your content?

Not just create but create and repurpose your content so that you're not constantly trying to recreate the wheel. My creation process is implementing a content pyramid. I record 1 video which is then transcribed and repurposed to an article/blog, newsletter and social media posts. Implementing this process saves hours of my time!  (If you’d like to learn how to do this, shoot me an email)

Source Design Tools

These digital tools will help you to create great-looking content. My go-to tools are; Canva for images, iMovie, and in-Shot for video. Learn to use these tools effectively and create templates to make life easier.

Create A Content Calendar

Now a content calendar will generally be a daily calendar, which sets what you are going to post into which channels and at what time, a good resource for some content calendars or some templates that you can download can be from HubSpot and from CoSchedule.

Setting up a content calendar helps you to plan and share your content. There are some great templates provided by HubSpot and CoSchedule. You can set this up in Google Drive (Sheets).

Use Scheduling Tools

Schedule your content following your content calendar. You can now schedule your social media posts directly via Canva (paid version) or use Facebook’s Creative Studio for Facebook and Instagram for FREE. You can schedule your newsletters using an email automation tool such as MailChimp and schedule your blogs within your website.

Conclusion

Streamlining your content workflow will improve your chances of consistency. So, what are you waiting for? Get yourself organized and start sharing your content!
